The FreeDOM Help System was designed to help your staff learn and operate the program on their own with clear, comprehensive, step-by-step instructions accompanied by over 1,200 screen shots of FreeDOM operations. Within hours, they will know the basics: program navigation, patient registration, making an appointment, creating an encounter, posting a payment. Within days, they should be zooming around FreeDOM, and with topic-sensitive Help, help is always one keystroke away. Let us show you!
Topic Sensitive Help
Wherever you're working in FreeDOM, if you get stuck, simply click in a data field and press the F1 key. Help opens to the corresponding topic that you are working with at that moment!
Example:
1. In Figure 1, you are unsure about what the Custom Statement Message is in the Billing Properties Editor. Place the cursor in that field and press the F1 key.

2. Help opens immediately to the same area of the program that you are working in! Just scroll down the page to find your answer. Almost every Help topic has links to related topics as well.

3. The Help System also includes ClickIt Help. ClickIt Help is very efficient if you need a simple definition instead of a full procedure explained. Simply right-click on any data field or control, and a window is displayed defining or explaining what you clicked on (Figure 3).
